    In the world of fashion, there’s a constantly revolving door. Groups of who’s hot and who’s not emerge and make their exits sometimes so fast it’s hard to make out just what happened.
    This month marks the last seen by South Main Street’s Bella Bikinis and Clothing. Bella’s sister store in Albany called The Clothes Basket would remain open and has no plans of closing.
    Everything in Bella Bikinis is currently 25 percent off if it’s not already on sale.
    But when one door closes on one fashion icon, another opens for someone else. Statesboro is no different.
    This month saw the opening of another fashion boutique in Social, and it was a success according to owner Laura Lanier.
    “Think of Social like your most stylish best friend’s closet,” said Lanier, who also owns Brampton Avenue’s fashion boutique Runway. “Shop Social for the perfect party dress, a trendy little vest, or a cute motorcycle jacket.”
    Lanier added the Main Street Village fashion boutique will not be closing its doors. Plans are to have Runway “grow up” with Lanier while Social will become a fashion hub for college students looking for trendy fashion-forward clothes that won’t bust their wallets’ seems.
    “Runway will still be the place to go for updated classics: sharp blazers, cozy cardigans, the perfect white tank, and of course, your favorite designer jeans,” said Lanier. “When we think of Social, we think fun. Trendy. Easy on your wallet. Being the life of the party. Being the cutest girl in the room. Being on-trend, but still being yourself.”
    Social’s hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday with Sunday’s hours being 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It’s located between Shane’s Rib Shack and Mellow Mushroom in Market District on Bermuda Run Road.
    Runway is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday. For more information on what the store offers, check out their Web site at runwayofstatesboro.com.
