BULLOCH COUNTY HISTORICAL MARKERS—6 pm Thursday, August 2 Find out where to locate historical markers around the county and the events that make them significant with Dr. Brent Tharp from GSU.

KNITTING AND CROCHETING CLUB - 10 am Saturday, August 4, 11, 18, & 25 Bring your knitting needles, crochet hooks and yarn! Share projects and get some new ideas! New members are always welcome!

GENEALOGY: FINDAGRAVE.COM - 6pm Tuesday, August 7 Learn how to navigate the NEW VERSION of Find a Grave. Genealogy Coordinator, Lillian Wingate, will demonstrate how the site works.

TEEN ANIME CLUB (age 12 – Young Adult) 5 pm Wednesday August 8 & 22 For teens and young adults interested in watching and discussing different anime series. We enjoy an activity, snacks and new episodes each week! No sign up required.

MEDITATION FOR STRESS RELIEF:  6PM Thursday, August 9 Local Neurologist, Dr. Kashyap Patel MD, returns to help us learn about ways that meditation can help us manage stress in our everyday lives.

Genealogy and Local History Coordinator, Lillian Wingate will answer your questions about starting your genealogical research journey.

Learn the basics of social media and how to help your children and teens protect themselves on social media sites and apps. Presented by Dr. Lucas Jensen, from the Georgia Southern College of Education’s Instructional Technology Program.

Learn how to use RB digital to access audiobooks, magazines & eBooks with your library card and the RBdigital mobile app for iOS, Android and Kindle.

PARENTAL CONTROLS FOR VIDEO GAMES  6 pm Thursday, August, 30 Learn how to navigate the basic parental controls on video game systems, so that you can know more about what your children and teens are playing online. We’ll be touching on Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox, as well as mobile platforms and the PC game site, Steam. Presented by Dr. Lucas Jensen, from the Georgia Southern College of Education’s Instructional Technology Program.
