    Would you like a Jacuzzi in your room? How about a maid that comes in once a week and cleans your place up? What if you could hang out with your friends and grab a bite to eat just a short walk from your apartment?
    If it sounds good, then you’re in luck. Main Street Studios is the place for you.
    Pet friendly, all-inclusive and no caps on the utilities, Quality Inn has a made significant improvements to 60 of their hotel units into “lodgers” or long-term lodging.
    The amenities include: a fully furnished studio with a television; all utilities, cable and Internet included; staff on-site 24 hours; saltwater pool; pet friendly; laundry facilities; and special discounts to Manny’s right next door.
    Per Holtze, general manager of Quality Inn & Suites and Manny’s Sports Bar and Grill, said the business decision came down to the numbers.
    “When you think about how many people are coming into Statesboro just for the night and comparing it to the number of people who are actually living in apartments here, there’s a significant difference,” said Holtze. “So we decided to go after a slice of the apartment market.”
    The units are still in the process of being renovated, but with the same amenities as living in the pent house of a luxury apartment there aren’t many more things which can be offered.
    When these places were designed, they were thinking of people who need a place to stay after the roommates abandon them. Tough situations are part of college, and the experience can leave one person living in a big house or apartment on their own. Sometimes, they have to pay the bill.
    Main Street Studios is there for that person, said Holtze.
    Another demographic Holtze wants to appeal to are the people who don’t want to live with the noise of being neighbors to students and teenagers. Young professionals who are still between college and settling down with families of their own are targeted with these studio apartments with the amenities of a hotel.
    Located right between downtown and campus, Main Street Studios is ideal for being at the center of everything.
    When it comes to pets, they’re welcome, too, so long as they are approved, said Holtze, who said that the location is still a functioning hotel. For now they are signing long term and short term contracts for the studio apartments.
