Apparently not at Cambridge Apartments. Police responded to a physical fight between two men over ground beef.

DON’T CALL THE COPS — When you’re wanted by the law. An Eason Street woman reporting a burglary was arrested on wanted person charges. The items stolen in the burglary were an Xbox, video game and tennis shoes.

HERE’S YOUR SIGN — When you steal something, you don’t try to sell it on the Internet. Someone lifted a Pizza Hut sign and tried to unload it online. When they were found out, they were lucky that the restaurant at Buckhead Plaza only asked for the sign back and didn’t press charges.

UNRULY RAPPER — A Beaver Creek Drive man called deputies when his stepson played loud music and rapped the lyrics while others tried to sleep. The stepson had also threatened to damage the home by arson, he said.

DRUNK DIALING 911 — A drunken Deer Run Road man called 911, demanding they trace a call he received on his cell phone from a woman screaming. He didn’t know who she was or what was wrong. Deputies responding to his harassing 911 operators found him surrounded by liquor bottles. He cursed deputies, demanded they trace the call, and said he was an ex-Marine and it was normal for him to curse because of that. He was arrested.
