Deputies were called to a Two Chop Road, Portal, residence, where an adult woman was angry because her mother wouldn’t let her use the car. The complainant said her mother also constantly reminded her about being on parole, which irritated her as well.
WHO LET THE DOGS OUT? — An East Main Street man called police, distressed because someone keeps coming onto his property and cutting his dogs’ leashes.
KNOCKOUT — A man and woman at The Forum apartments were arguing over undisclosed issues when the man lost his temper and punched the woman in the nose.
NOW THAT’S JUST NASTY — A woman rented a home on Live Oak Lane in Pembroke to a man and his family. When she realized he was behind on rent and had abandoned the home, she investigated and found the mobile home filled with trash, animal feces, empty beer cans and holes in the walls. The man left a note apologizing and promising to return and take care of the mess, but he never did.
NOT IN FRONT OF THE KIDS — A Miller Street Extension woman called police after a man struck her in the lip during an argument. He also held her down on the floor in front of children and struck her again, she said.
