A man at Cambridge at Southern apartments told police another man has been stalking him and leaving notes on his door. The apartment complex office also complained to police about the offender’s behavior, stating he has harassed several others.
AND ANOTHER STALKER — A man found to be acting suspiciously at Ogeechee Drive East claimed he was watching his girlfriend’s house because he suspected she was being unfaithful. Deputies contacted the woman, who said she had broken up with the man a week prior and was unaware that he was watching her house. He was served a criminal trespass warning.
THAT’S ALL THEY TOOK? — Someone shattered a window at the Liberty Store On Ga. 25 and fled with nothing but a case of Keystone beer. The two men and a woman left the scene in a dark-colored four-door Dodge diesel pickup truck.
SNEAK ATTACK — A man said he was walking from Bunz on Chandler Road when a man asked him for a cigarette. Then, someone punched him from behind and he blacked out, he said. When he recovered, he saw that both his wallet and a piece of paper that had been in his pocket were on the ground, but nothing was missing. He declined EMS treatment.
WOW, JUST WOW — A Lott’s Creek Road, Portal, man was arrested after admitting using an axe to slash holes in a mobile home he rented, as well as breaking windows. He said he did so because he was mad.
