Connect Crime: That gator bites

    A woman shoplifted two Florida Gators jackets from PoJo’s on U.S. 301 South, bit a man who chased her down, caught a ride in a semi to Kennedy Bridge Road, then continued fleeing on foot until a deputy caught up with her. She was jailed on several charges.

    HEY, YOU LEFT SOMETHING! — A man was arrested on DUI charges after flipping his Ford F150 in a Brookwood Drive yard and leaving the scene.

    PEEK-A-BOO, THEY SEE YOU — A man tried hiding under a car when deputies arrived to serve a warrant at a Mud Road, Brooklet, residence, but they found him and took him to jail.

    ODD FIND — A man found an ATM on the side of the road while working on Interstate 16. He brought it to the Bulloch County Sheriff’s office, but deputies were unable to immediately locate the owner.

    SCARY FIND — A woman found a small, black hand gun inside a tire next to a fence where children were playing at Little Lotts Creek Apartments. The gun was loaded.
