    Who is Slimm Duddy?
    His given name is Terry Price, and he is a singer/songwriter who has been in the biz for about five years. Now his song "Blue, White" has been named the official game song of Georgia Southern Athletics.
    He will be performing "Blue, White" for the Eagle’s Walk — when the players unload the bus — at Saturday’s game.
    In 2007, Slimm created the song, which he performed for a rally at Georgia Southern that year and back then, the song mostly focused on football.
    But Slimm with the help of his producers, Sean White, Darrell Bailey and Sidney Ingleton of HitSynth have recreated the song.
    “We opened it up so it could reach all the sports, not just football,” Slimm said Wednesday.  
    The song kicks off with an audio clip that strikes joy into most Eagle fans hearts, "The Run." It's from the 1999 championship game against Youngstown State, where Adrian Peterson ran an amazing 61 yards.
    And that is not the only thing that's been added. More instruments have been added, as well as more chants.
    'We still have the Georgia, Southern chants, but we’ve added Whose house, Our House chants, too," said Slimm. “It really has a crowd feel to it. We took time to really bring in the Georgia Southern spirit.”
    "Blue, White" has been big on the local bar scene for several years. But now that the song has been revamped, Slimm and his producers hope that play will pick up even more.
    “We made the music more lively, more powerful. We gave it more oomph” said White.
    The team spent nearly a month on the song. More time that they spend on most, according to Slimm. And the time and dedication shows in the single.
    "It took a lot of time, because we wanted to make sure it was right," Simm said.
    According to the director of media relations for Georgia Southern Athletics, Rose Carter, "Blue,White" will be released at 8:03 p.m. Thursday night — for the retired numbers for Tracy Ham and Adrian Peterson. The song will be free to download from the Georgia Southern website.
    Slimm Duddy said he currently is working on a project that will be coming out  in November with a projected album release next year. He currently has five singles on iTunes.
