That's one big scrapbook

August 25, 2010

U KNOW ANYTHING? — Cops want to know if you can tell them who was doing the shooting Saturday morning around
2 a.m. at the U Lounge. They found evidence supporting claims of shots fired, but no injuries. Calls giving them tips will be kept confidential.
AIN’T NO JOHHNY APPLESEED — Some kid showed up at school bearing some tiny little “suspicious seeds” that were reportedly destroyed by police.  Hmmm, now what kind of seeds could be considered “suspicious” enough to require destruction?
CAN’T GET NO SATISFACTION —  A woman checked into Budget Inn and switched rooms five times within a very short period of time. During the musical rooms situation, she lost a bottle of prescription pills.  A cleaning crew said the bottle had been seen on a table, but it was nowhere to be found.
STICKER SHOCK — Somebody went into Hobby Lobby and shoplifted $1,620 worth of scrapbooking stickers. This is about the third time this happened. Who can use that many scrapbooking stickers, and why would they want to?
THEY CALL HIM THE STREAK — A Rentown employee went to retrieve property from a Cecil Martin road residence and was attacked by a naked man. When a deputy arrived at the scene, the man was yelling and cursing at everyone there, and was still naked. He was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and obstruction. w
