Julie: Leave your UGA T-shirts and hats at home. This is the EAGLE NATION!
Suzanne: Get involved with the community or at least get to know the community surrounding GSU. They're the reason GSU exists as it does today.
Marjorie: There is a time for beer and a time for class .... Just remember to keep these times SEPARATE!
Jamie: Uhm ... does Retriever's still do that lunch thing? Also that you do not have to go to most classes ... wait that's counterproductive, isn't it?
Joseph: No matter how you are feeling, just go to class every day.. that impresses professors.. Other than that, CHEERS.
Kelcy: Don't forget to study!
Chelsea: BEING FROM STATESBORO — trust me, the bypass is 45, not a 50 mph road! Stay busy, and remember the freshman 15 is harder to lose than gain!
Sandi: Go to Gnats Landing, feels like home!
Lori: Pay attention when you are driving! Statesboro can be tricky when you don't know the city and if you miss your exit, continue until you can SAFELY turn around.
Tim: My adviser was about as knowledgeable about my career path as I was back then...hopefully they have better staff now LOL
Jennifer: Professors are approachable ... don't be afraid to talk to them and let them know when you are having troubles.
Sorry, you cannot study laying by the pool.
Please GET OFF CAMPUS and explore Statesboro. Take a drive in the "country."
Plan to stay in Statesboro at least one summer ... totally different world and more relaxing (you feel like a Statesboro insider then).
It's okay NOT to have a major. Take that "Area F" of course and take some extra electives to decide what you want to do. Volunteer or try to intern at something you're interested in to decide what you want to do.
And if after 4 years, your major is not what you want to do, it's okay to change your major. You are not a failure.
Kelley: Don't go home right away. Stay in town on the weekends and explore Statesboro.
