    GROCERY STORE ATTACK – A man was walking in the parking lot of Harvey’s on U.S. 80 West, minding his own business, when a stranger approached him and began whaling away on him. Apparently the victim escaped serious injury and called police, who had no idea for whom to look, as the victim did not know his attacker.
    REHAB DRAMA – A man in John’s Place rehabilitation center got into an argument with another man about who would sit in which seat. The angry man tossed his hot cup of coffee into the other’s face, then began fighting him.  He eventually found a place to sit – in jail.
    GIMME MY STUFF – A Bell Road, Brooklet man said a rental car in which he was riding was towed, and when he went to get his clothes and stuff, the rental car business refused to give him anything until the rental was paid. He wasn’t he one who rented the car, he said.
    GOOD PARENTING – An Ellis Road man didn’t like it when an intoxicated adult male came to his house to visit a juvenile female spending the night with his kids. When he confronted the drunk man, a spat ensued and the juvenile with the grown-up boyfriend left the home. Someone called deputies to straighten out the mess.
    THAT’S DISGUSTING – A Groover Street man saw and heard a trespasser in his yard, and watched the man go into a neighbor’s house. Later he found vomit in a child’s pool. Ugh.
