1. Sweetheart Circle: The Legend of this relic on Georgia Southern's campus states that if you walk around the circle holding your sweetheart's hand, you'll have a happy life together. Many couples have used this legend as a way to pop the question, but you might be surprised to discover you can actually get married on there.
2. Mill Creek Park: Whether you're just wanting to take a break and enjoy the day together, Mill Creek Park has plenty of options. Bring a few friends along and play a game of softball. Bring the dogs and walk them while you enjoy the day together.
3. Local restaurants: From Emma's to 119 Chops and Christopher's to Olive Garden, they're all great choices when it comes to a romantic dinner. You have plenty to choose from, but you'll want to book it early.
4. Magnolia Springs State Park: With just over 1,000 acres filled with 26 tent, trailer and RV campsites this state park in nearby Millen has something for every adventurous couple. Make it a camping trip and enjoy that natural spring and boardwalk. There's a museum (open by request) and a freshwater aquarium operated by the Jenkins County Development Authority. Take the bikes and bring a fishing rod and hiking boots; the trails are pretty amazing. Canoe and fishing boat rentals are also available.
