Playoff Fantasy Football What is Playoff Fantasy football? It was started for the extreme fantasy junkies at first but has become extremely popular with all NFL football fans.
It has become just another part of the NFL fan’s season. It is a little different from the regular season style of fantasy football because only 12 NFL teams make the playoffs. Most leagues are run with the same style for the playoffs.
You start by picking a team from players whose teams are in the NFL playoffs. You select players you think will collect the most Fantasy Points from the Wild Card round through the Super Bowl. Points are based on the statistics players accumulate during the playoffs. You'll build a team of eight players.
After lineups lock for the Wild Card games, you'll only have eight moves to alter your roster for the remainder of the playoffs.
You will only be able to select players on teams still remaining in the playoffs. Your challenge is to pick players whose teams you believe will continue playing all the way to the Super Bowl.
It is a great way to further your enjoyment of the NFL playoffs. Plus there are many prizes you could win for playing.
There are many free leagues you can join but I recommend CBS Sportsline. They run a free league called Playoff Challenge with many prizes and a Grand prize of $5,000.
